The Gospel of John provides an intimate eye-witness account of the ministry of Jesus during the last several years of his incarnation. John later described the account as that “which we have seen with our hands and heard with our ears; that which our hands have handled of the Word of Life. The focus of the narrative is on Jesus as the Word of God in human flesh; the light that shined in the darkness. Through this course students will develop and use solid skills for absorbing, interpreting, and applying the text, expecting to interact with the voice of God in a manner that will change their perspectives and transform their lives.
