COU206 Introduction to Biblical Counseling

This course introduces students to the foundational concepts, history, and distinctives of biblical counseling. Students explore key figures, movements, and organizations that have shaped the development of biblical counseling, while comparing its core principles with common secular counseling approaches. Emphasis is placed on understanding the role of Scripture, theology, and the local church in providing care, and on applying basic biblical counseling principles in everyday relationships and ministry contexts.
