This course will introduce students to the history and foundation of the Biblical Counseling movement. Students will be able to identify key individuals, organizations, and topics initially addressed by the biblical counseling moment. This coarse will help students identify differences between biblical counseling and prominent secular models. Key elements of various biblical counseling systems will be reviewed along with crucial theological topics critical to biblical counseling.
