The Bible is the authority for helping parents, children, and youth consider God’s design for their formative and adolescent years. Emphasis will be on incorporating parents in the intervention process, supporting their primacy as God’s intended agents for discipling children toward spiritual, emotional, and behavioral health. Various difficulties experienced by children and their parents will be addressed and understood from the perspective of healthy development and biblical guidelines for parenting in a nuclear family context.
