Today there are dozens of graduate and certification programs designed to equip Biblical Counselors. The increase in trained Biblical Counselors has led to a growing demand for churches and ministries to provide viable models to employ Biblical Counselors through vocational and volunteer-based counseling ministries. This class examines multiple existing counseling ministry models and works through strategies for creating a counseling ministry. Students will also develop a theological framework for understanding the importance of the counseling ministries relationship with the local churches.
