This course provides a practical, Christ-centered framework for biblical counseling that guides helpers through each stage of the care process—from the first conversation to the final session. Emphasizing a heart-focused, Scripture-faithful, and relational approach, students will develop core counseling skills such as active listening, reading non-verbal cues, and asking open-ended questions that invite meaningful exploration and change. The course also equips students with a biblical understanding of self-care and accountability, offering practical guidance to sustain lifelong ministry while avoiding common pitfalls.
