This course is designed to introduce students to modern educational approaches for students with disabilities. The student will be encouraged to think creatively about creating on-ramps for learning and discipleship. Educational models such as Universal Design for Learning, social role valorization, social stories, and spiritual growth stories will be introduced. Students will also gain an appreciation for partnering with parents in their children’s education and discipleship.
