BIB313 John
The Gospel of John provides an intimate eye-witness account of the ministry of Jesus during the last several years of his incarnation. John later described the account as that “which we have seen with our hands and heard with our ears; that which our hands have handled of the Word of Life. The focus of the narrative is on Jesus as the Word of God in human flesh; the light that shined in the darkness. Through this course students will develop and use solid skills for absorbing, interpreting, and applying the text, expecting to interact with the voice of God in a manner that will change their perspectives and transform their lives.
BIB315 Acts
The Acts of the Apostles is a foundational source to understanding the essence of the church, its nature, its mission, how it operates as the body of Christ, formed, informed and empowered by the Holy Spirit. This course is designed to immerse students in the narrative of Acts to provide a foundation for more fully understanding the rest of the New Testament.
BIB316 Romans
Romans stands out as the most detailed and comprehensive single summary of the message and implications of the Gospel of Jesus Christ offered in the New Testament. This course is designed to enable students to engage its theology and apply that truth to the transforming of their lives. This will involve the developing and using of skills in absorbing, interpreting, and applying the text as it was intended, expecting to interact with the voice of God in a manner that changes their perspectives and transforms their lives.
BIB317 1 Corinthians
This course is an exegetical study of 1 Corinthians. The study will work through the book step by step, with a strong emphasis on the inductive Bible study method. The book of 1 Corinthians is being used but the process can be repeated with other books of the Bible. By learning this process the student will be able to study any book of the Bible.
